Authorities Attempt to Redirect the Issue of 44-Day Casualties to Technical Challenges, Tigran Abrahamyan

The authorities are cunningly trying to shift the topic of the 44-day casualties into the realm of technical issues, while the debate concerns the figures voiced by various representatives of the government. This was stated by Tigran Abrahamyan, the secretary of the 'We Have Honor' party in the National Assembly, on his Facebook page.

“The number one problem is that the questions posed by the parents of the martyrs, the missing, and the captives, as well as, collectively, society, regarding the different circumstances of the war and those responsible for it, remain unanswered. The government has appointed selective scapegoats, who, naturally, lie outside its own sphere and that of its leader. The report of the investigative committee was conveniently buried, while the real culprits are engaged in everything except facing the public, expanding the list of political prisoners, turning state interests into a bargaining chip, and dismantling the institutions that ensure the country's viability,” he wrote.
