Illegal Drugs Discovered: 31-Year-Old Resident of Gyumri Arrested

The Shirak regional division of the Criminal Police received information that a 31-year-old resident of Lisinian Street in Gyumri was preparing, using, and illegally possessing drugs. This was reported by the Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

On November 25, at 8:28 AM, he was arrested on Lisinian Street and taken to the division. A search revealed a greenish substance in a vial. He stated that the discovered substance was a type of drug known as "Khimka" and that he also had marijuana stored in an attic, which he was ready to present.

During the investigation initiated by the Shirak regional investigative department, a total of 41 grams of a substance resembling marijuana was found in the attic. According to the homeowner, he had harvested the cannabis from the low-growing plants in the fields adjacent to the village of Garibjanian. He has been taken to the detention facility. The circumstances are being clarified.
