I have nothing to say at the moment: Archbishop T. Arshak Khachatryan on the bishops' statement

Archbishop T. Arshak Khachatryan has responded to the statement made by the bishops demanding the resignation of the Catholicos from the Mother See. "I have nothing to say at the moment; we need to understand whether the document circulating is authentic or not. Individuals whose names are mentioned can confirm its authenticity," said Archbishop Khachatryan.

He noted that once everything is confirmed, he would speak further on the matter. "I wouldn’t want to make additional comments. Any decision must have a legal or logical justification. I am merely one of the ordinary bishops of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, with my own position," he highlighted, adding that there has been a consistent effort to eliminate individuals expressing positions they find displeasing.
