Removed Provisions from Trump's Ukraine Peace Plan Revealed

According to ABC News, sources indicate that during negotiations between Ukrainian and U.S. delegations in Geneva, provisions related to amnesty for crimes committed during the conflict and the reduction of Ukraine's armed forces have been removed from the peace plan developed by U.S. President Donald Trump's administration.

As reported, the original 28-point plan presented by the American side to Ukraine has been reduced to 19 points after revisions. The updated version no longer includes provisions for amnesty regarding actions taken during military operations or restrictions on the future size of the armed forces of the former Soviet republic, as detailed by the publication's author.

Earlier reports indicated that the removed provisions from the initial draft are expected to be included in other documents and discussed in further negotiations. It was also noted that Ukraine's potential accession to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) is "not completely ruled out." Following these reports, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that the Russian side has not received an updated peace plan for Ukraine.
