The White House Issues Statement After Peace Talks in Geneva

The White House has issued a statement following the peace talks held in Geneva.
"The negotiations were constructive, substantive, and respectful, emphasizing our joint commitment to achieving a just and lasting peace," the statement from the White House reads.
As a result of the talks, the parties have developed an updated and improved draft of the peace agreement.
"The discussions demonstrated significant progress in aligning positions and clearly defining the next steps. They reaffirmed that any future agreement must fully guarantee Ukraine's sovereignty and ensure stable and just peace," the statement noted.
