Russian Air Defense Reports Destruction of 93 Ukrainian Drones
Russian air defense systems have intercepted 93 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over four regions of the country, as well as in the skies over the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported.
According to the official statement, “during the night, air defense forces detected and destroyed 93 Ukrainian drones.” Specifically, the Russian Ministry of Defense notes that 45 of these drones were shot down in the Belgorod region, 9 in the Krasnodar region, and 7 in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
Furthermore, official data indicates that 4 drones were destroyed over the Voronezh region, 20 over the Black Sea, and 8 over the Sea of Azov.
It should be noted that according to Russian sources, Ukrainian forces periodically utilize drones and other means to shell border areas of Russia, including the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, and Voronezh regions.
