Trump Has Not Discussed New Peace Plan with Russia, Says Putin

Russian President Vladimir Putin has informed that the updated version of the peace settlement proposed by U.S. President Donald Trump regarding Ukraine has not yet been discussed with Russia. He stated that the issue has not yet become a subject of substantial negotiations between the parties.

Putin made this statement during a video conference with permanent members of the Russian Security Council. He emphasized that there has been no in-depth discussion around the presented document, and Moscow has not officially received any proposals that could serve as a working basis.

Recently, the Trump administration has put forward several initiatives regarding the resolution of the current situation in Ukraine. However, the Russian side notes that the process remains open and has not entered a substantive phase while waiting for clarified proposals.
