The President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, has acknowledged Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan as a national leader who has revitalized Armenia and stimulated the renaissance of state structures across all sectors. According to Tokayev, "Thanks to your visionary leadership, Armenia has embarked on a path of sustainable development and strengthened its position on the international stage."

Tokayev emphasized that the leadership of Armenia stands out for its prudent and responsible approach in both domestic and foreign policy. He added that Pashinyan made an unusual and bold decision amid complex geopolitical circumstances, which was, according to Tokayev, very valuable and beneficial for the Armenian people.

In Tokayev's words, Armenia has chosen a path of peace and sustainable development, and Pashinyan's historical role in this process is undeniable. Tokayev also highlighted Pashinyan's significant contribution to promoting the peace agreement reached between Armenia and Azerbaijan in Washington.

Today, Tokayev announced that Kazakh-Armenian relations have reached a new level of strategic partnership. "Considering your significant contribution and remarkable achievements in the development of Kazakh-Armenian relations, I have decided to award you with the highest state award of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the 'Golden Eagle' medal," stated the President of Kazakhstan, underscoring that this award symbolizes the brotherhood and mutual trust between the two nations.
