Masked Police Have Taken the Son of Gyumri Mayor Vardan Ghukasyan in an Unknown Direction

Masked police have taken Spartak Ghukasyan, the son of Gyumri Mayor Vardan Ghukasyan, according to Aravot.am. Spartak was invited to the Shirak Regional Investigative Department, and as he approached the building attempting to enter, masked police surrounded him and took him in an unknown direction.

It is noted that Spartak Ghukasyan is under house arrest on charges of extortion. According to the Investigative Committee's report, using his social position and authority, he allegedly demanded that a driver of a truck transfer property belonging to the Gyumri municipality to a resort area owned by his family, with the intention of appropriating it for himself.
