Poland and NATO Fighters Scramble Amid UAV Attack Threat

The Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces has announced that both Polish and allied military aircraft have been deployed to patrol the airspace of the Republic. According to the report, heightened control is being implemented based on an 'assessment of the current threat,' which Warsaw claims is linked to potential UAV activity from the direction of Ukraine.

'Polish and allied air forces are in action in our airspace,' the command stated in a message shared on the X platform.

Throughout the night, an air alert was declared across almost the entire territory of Ukraine, prompting neighboring countries to activate additional border security measures.
