Armenian-Azerbaijani Peace Will Strengthen the Logistics Role of the Caucasus, Says Vahagn Khachaturyan
The President of Armenia, Vahagn Khachaturyan, emphasized in a joint briefing with Georgia's President Mikheil Kavlashvili that the establishment of peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, along with the implementation of regional projects, could transform the South Caucasus into a logistics hub, as reported by Georgian media.
During the meeting, regional issues, provisions of the peace agreement initialed in Washington on August 8, and the economic agenda were discussed. Khachaturyan added that the cooperation between the parties, grounded in sovereignty, identity, and mutual respect, holds significant importance.
According to him, the establishment of peace and the implementation of relevant projects could enhance the logistics role of the South Caucasus, and ensuring prosperity is a shared responsibility. Khachaturyan also highlighted the importance of joint efforts to further deepen Georgian-Azerbaijani relations.
