Archbishop Arshak Accused of Murder and Connections to Criminal Underworld

The newspaper "Hraparak" reports: "Nikol Pashinyan is not satisfied with three bishops; we learned that the investigative committee has opened 3-4 cases against the Primate of the Mother See, Archbishop Arshak, during the summer, and he continues to be summoned for questioning. However, taking advantage of his constitutional right, he refuses to provide testimony.

When we inquired what he was being accused of, it was said: 'He is likely to be charged with the murder of Khoren Muradbekyan.' Muradbekyan was murdered in 1938. Archbishop Arshak is accused of murder, illegal possession of firearms, connections to the criminal underworld, and money laundering. All allegations are based on information from disgraced clergy or the fake 'Vardapet Harutyun's' circulated claims. This 'vardapet' also sends his 'revelations' to the media.

We were particularly interested in the murder accusation. It turned out that according to testimonies, Archbishop Arshak 'killed Garegin I Catholicos by poisoning.'
