More Than 150 Packages of Drugs Found

During their duty, police officers in the capital noticed the suspicious behavior of the driver and passenger of a Nissan vehicle on Lukashin Street on the night of November 15. Upon seeing the police, the passenger threw a polyethylene bag out of the car containing dozens of packages wrapped in tape. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

At 1:45 AM, in the rear area of Lukashin Street, the police arrested the 25-year-old passenger from Ejmiadzin and the 32-year-old driver from Goris on suspicion of drug trafficking and presented them to the Community Police Department of Mashtots.

It was revealed that the bag contained more than 150 packages. The driver reported that the packages contained marijuana.

The prepared documents have been sent to the investigative department. Circumstances are being clarified.
