The Bigger the Lie, the More Believers There Will Be: The Head of the Regulatory Commission on Reports of Selling HET to Turkey

The three members of the Public Services Regulatory Commission have visited Turkey: Sergey Aghinyan, David Muradyan, and Elena Baboyan. This was announced by the head of the Commission, Mesrop Mesropyan, during a press conference.

“They traveled in October to participate in the regional association of energy regulators' working conference. Armenia has been not only a member but also a founding member of this association since 1999, which includes 47 countries. This year in Oman, Commission member Sergey Aghinyan was elected as a member of the association's presidency for three years. Twice a year, there is a working conference in one of the member countries, where representatives discuss numerous energy issues,” Mesropyan stated, emphasizing that these topics were touched upon during their recent visit to Turkey.

He added that the information suggesting that the representatives went to Turkey to negotiate and sell HET resembles Goebbels' propaganda: the bigger the lie, the more believers there will be.
