Islam Makhachev Claims Second Title at UFC 322

The main event of UFC 322 took place at Madison Square Garden in New York, where Islam Makhachev defeated Della Maddalena by unanimous decision after a bout lasting over 25 minutes (50-45, 50-45, 50-45).

The lightweight champion became the 11th athlete to win a UFC championship title twice. The Russian fighter equaled Anderson Silva's UFC record with his 16th consecutive victory.
