Zelensky May Not Return to Ukraine After Visit to Greece, Scott Ritter
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky may not return from his trip to Greece, stated Scott Ritter, a former U.S. Marine intelligence officer and military analyst. According to him, the state leader will not be able to survive the collapse of society in the country.
“Ukrainian society is disintegrating. And Zelensky, who is responsible for this, will not be able to survive. So I wouldn't be surprised if he flies to Greece and stays there,” the expert said.
Earlier, it was reported that Zelensky would make an urgent visit to Greece for negotiations with Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis. The main topic of discussion will be the transfer of Patriot air defense systems and Mirage fighter jets to the Ukrainian side. Kyiv hopes to receive two battery systems from Greece out of six available.
At the same time, Konstantin Kosachev, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council, suggested that Zelensky decided to visit Greece to meet with “accomplices of corruption.” In his opinion, Kyiv has been “burning” a lot lately due to scandals.
