Discussion on the Possibility of Direct Flights from Yerevan to Los Angeles

On November 13, Armenian Ambassador to the USA Narek Mkrtchyan met with Bob Lattin, Vice President of Delta Air Lines, one of the largest carriers in the United States.

According to information from the Armenian Embassy in the USA, the main topic of discussion was the possibility of implementing direct air flights from Yerevan to Los Angeles. The interlocutors touched upon passenger transport demand, technical and logistical capabilities, as well as the forms of cooperation that could facilitate the development of air communication between the two countries.

Ambassador Mkrtchyan stated that the launch of direct flights would be of significant importance for the Armenian diaspora, tourism, and strengthening economic ties. Discussions will continue at a professional level to assess the feasibility of the project.
