I Will Implement Supervisory, Inspecting, and Other Functions: Romanos Petrosyan

Today, during a press briefing at the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC), the interim manager of the Electric Networks of Armenia, Romanos Petrosyan, announced that he will carry out supervisory, inspecting, and other functions within the framework of the powers bestowed upon him as interim manager.

"A few weeks later, it became clear that the situation that had prevailed in the Electric Networks for many years, concealed from both the PSRC and other state bodies endowed with relevant supervisory and inspecting authorities, has led to a crisis situation, forcing the PSRC president to initiate proceedings against the Electric Networks and implement preventive measures," noted Romanos Petrosyan.

He also added that his earlier prediction, suggesting that the Electric Networks may potentially lose its license, was simply a result of the inspections conducted within the scope of interim managerial powers that he oversees.
