Armenia-Hungary Football Match Ends

In the penultimate round of the World Cup qualifying tournament, the Armenian national team lost to Hungary with a score of 0:1 at the Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium in Yerevan.

Hungarian forward Barnabás Varga, 31, who plays for Ferencváros, scored the only goal in the 33rd minute, assisted by 25-year-old midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai from the English champions Liverpool.

In Group F, Armenia is at the bottom with 3 points and has been denied the opportunity to advance to the second place and compete for a spot in the finals through playoff matches. Hungary is currently in second place with 8 points.
