Units Literally Disbanded During the War: Abrahamyan

During court sessions regarding various episodes of the 44-day war, an interesting fact has emerged, which, although previously discussed, is now evident from the factual records of these sessions. This was noted by Tigran Abrahamyan, the secretary of the “I Have Honor” faction, on his Facebook page.

“During the war, the units were literally disbanded: one battalion was sent south, another battalion north, the brigade's air defense to the central direction, and the anti-tank unit completely elsewhere. And so it continued: the brigade, as a crucial military link, ensures its combat readiness under the conditions of the formation and presence of units specific to its structure, from air defense issues to reconnaissance. When different links are not functioning and alternatives are not provided, the brigade's ability to fulfill its tasks diminishes sharply. Throughout the 44 days, not only did the reserve units not have the opportunity to engage fully as a whole, but some of their separate units were also split up and scattered in different directions at the front due to various decisions.

There were failures of 3-4 wars within one war, the main responsible parties are not only free, but they also boast, showing strange self-confidence,” wrote Abrahamyan.
