WhatsApp Account Opened in the Name of Armen Pambukhchyan

Armen Pambukhchyan, the Deputy Mayor of Yerevan, has announced on his social media page that a WhatsApp account has been opened in his name from a different phone number.

“You may receive messages that may seem to be sent by me, but it is not me. Such messages can come not only from WhatsApp but also from Telegram or other platforms. I kindly ask you to—not respond to such messages,—not click on links,—not provide personal information. I am sharing this to keep you informed and alert. Please, always ensure that the message is genuinely from me before replying,” he wrote.
