Vardan Ghukasyan Still Without Medical Assistance in Prison, Postanjyan

The lawyer of Gyumri's mayor Vardan Ghukasyan, Zarouhi Postanjyan, announced during a Facebook live stream that she is currently at the Armenian General Prosecutor's Office. She stated that her client has yet to receive medical assistance, despite having submitted a request to the relevant authorities on November 6.

Postanjyan indicated that she has already sent several letters to Prosecutor Ana Vardapetyan. "It's a stone silence. She is well aware of this, but under such conditions, Vardan Ghukasyan continues to remain in the Yerevan penitentiary," Postanjyan said, emphasizing that the state body is obliged to respond to the requests.

Postanjyan mentioned that her client has been in illegal detention for about 22 days. She was informed that the prosecutor is not present. She insisted that a replacement meet with her.
