Poland Warns: Ukraine's Defeat Would Have Serious Consequences, Says Tusk
Ofelya
Poland's Prime Minister Donald Tusk has stated in an interview with Gazeta Wyborcza that there are no objective grounds for Ukraine's defeat. According to him, the future of Poland and the entire region is closely tied to the events unfolding in Ukraine.
Tusk emphasized that Poland must make more effective use of its geographical and strategic position, while continuing to support Kyiv. He warned that a potential Ukrainian defeat could lead to an increase in tensions and jeopardize Poland's security.
“We must focus on helping Ukraine because, in the event of its defeat, Poland will face serious consequences. However, I am optimistic: there are no objective reasons for Ukraine's defeat,” Tusk stressed.
