Kazakhstan Joins Abraham Accords, Trump Announces

U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that Kazakhstan has joined the Abraham Accords to normalize relations with Israel. Trump made this declaration on his TruthSocial platform, highlighting that an official signing ceremony will take place soon.

“Kazakhstan is the first country to join the Abraham Accords during my second term, one of many,” wrote the U.S. President. “This is a significant step toward building bridges in the world.”

Trump added that more countries are preparing to join the accords, which he claims contribute to peace and prosperity.

The Abraham Accords were signed in 2020 between Israel, the UAE, Bahrain, and Morocco with U.S. mediation. They aim to establish diplomatic relations between the Jewish state and Arab countries. Sudan joined the accords in 2021, followed by Egypt.
