Which Party is the Most Financially Stable among those Participating in the Vagharchapat Local Elections: "Haykanush"
According to the "Haykanush" newspaper, it has been revealed through analyses that the most financially stable party participating in the Vagharchapat local elections set for November 16 is the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF), with a bank account balance of 29 million 213 thousand AMD as of October 30.
From this amount, only a property tax of 1 million 875 thousand 335 AMD has been withdrawn. It is also noted that the party has not submitted all account information to the Commission.
In terms of bank account balance, the second place goes to the Republic Party, which has a balance of 23 million 492 thousand AMD. The party’s expenditures are relatively modest: salaries and vacation pay for 8 employees total 1 million 72 thousand AMD, with additional payments including a stamp duty of 18 thousand AMD and several cash transfers ranging from a minimum of 6,930 to a maximum of 29,633 AMD.
In third place is the ruling Civil Contract Party, with a bank account balance of 15 million 360 thousand AMD. Of this amount, 462 thousand 700 AMD was accrued from membership fees received from 41 individuals, where the minimum was 1,000 AMD and the maximum was 50,000 AMD. Additionally, the Civil Contract Party has withdrawn 31 million 487 thousand AMD for other expenses, ranging from a minimum of 300 AMD to a maximum of 1,080,000 AMD, with 30 million AMD being transferred to the electoral account.
Fourth is the Homeland Party, with a bank balance of 1 million 156 thousand 594 AMD. The party has allocated 1 million AMD to the election fund. The party received contributions from two individuals, each contributing 500,000 AMD, for a total of 1 million AMD, and another 1 million AMD was recorded under the description: "other entries are prohibited in the Homeland Party’s election fund."
The Free Democrats Party has a balance of 15,165 AMD. No information about the Heritage Party was available in Armenian banks, according to the Corruption Prevention Commission.
The Armenian All-national Front Party received a donation of 192 thousand AMD from one individual, while as of October 30, their account balance was at 13,600 AMD.
The Forward Right-Centered Party, which forms part of the Victory political alliance with the ARF, submitted a modest financial report indicating no funds in their bank account and allocated only 490 thousand AMD for the electoral campaign of the Vagharchapat municipality for the November 16, 2025, council elections.
The Mother Armenia National-Democratic Party received a donation of 2.5 million AMD from one person and similarly allocated the same amount for election expenses in Vagharchapat, leaving no funds in their bank account by the end of October.
It should be noted that this is the latest report submitted to the Central Election Commission. An interesting fact in the first report submitted on October 22 indicates that the Civil Contract Party was the wealthiest with a bank balance of 55 million 432 thousand AMD. The Civil Contract Party received donations totaling 10 million 600 thousand AMD from 17 individuals, with donations ranging from a minimum of 100,000 AMD to a maximum of 3,000,000 AMD, while 921 thousand AMD was accrued from membership dues from 33 individuals, where the minimum was 1,000 AMD and the maximum was 700,000 AMD.
