Romanos Petrosyan on Unprecedented Violations Discovered at HEЦ
The temporary manager of HEЦ, Romanos Petrosyan, stated that over 3.1 million kWh of electricity was artificially added in the financial calculations for the company's expenditures in six administrative buildings during the years 2023-2025.
According to him, the damage inflicted on the company, calculated at market average rates, exceeds 150 million drams. Petrosyan noted that the detected violations were recorded in only 6 out of HEЦ's 52 administrative buildings during this period.
He added that the administrative proceedings initiated by the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) are at the final stage, and a decision is expected to be made soon. Petrosyan emphasized that the identified violations have a systemic nature that could affect the electricity tariffs provided to the public.
“Monitoring activities will continue, and new records will be submitted for legal assessment,” he mentioned.
