Russia's Nuclear Triad Updated, Says Peskov

Russia's nuclear triad has been updated, announced Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian President.

"You know that our nuclear triad has been updated. This is, in essence, the world's newest nuclear triad. Extensive work has been done to reliably ensure our security," Peskov told reporters.

According to him, Russian President Vladimir Putin's position is absolutely clear: Russia is committed to its obligations under the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT).

Commenting on the potential phone call between Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, Peskov noted that currently, there is no plan for such a conversation, but it could be organized quickly if necessary.
