Russian Defense Ministry Responds to Zelensky, Claims Ukrainian Positions are Deteriorating

The Russian Ministry of Defense has responded to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's statements, in which he claimed that Ukrainian forces were 'gaining successful operations' in the Kupiansk region. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, Zelensky has either lost touch with reality or is attempting to conceal the truth, aware of the hopelessness of the situation.

The ministry's statement indicated that the conditions for Ukrainian units operating in the Kupiansk and Pokrovsk directions continue to worsen. The Russian side insists that the encircled forces are cut off from supply routes and are gradually losing their combat effectiveness.

'For the Ukrainian side, the only remaining option for salvation is surrender,' highlights the Russian Defense Ministry.
