No Funding Spent on Carlson-Karapetyan Interview, Says Marianna Ghahramanyan

The spokesperson of the “Our Way” movement, Marianna Ghahramanyan, announced that no financial resources were spent on organizing the Carlson-Karapetyan interview. According to her, the current authorities are trying to assess everything by their own standards.

Ghahramanyan also emphasized that the United States is closely monitoring the recent political developments in Armenia. “The civilized world is astonished that the leader of a country declared a democracy is arresting a national benefactor who stands in defense of the church and is fighting against our national identity and the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church,” she wrote.

It is worth noting that earlier reports stated that the Karapetyans had hired a lobbying organization for publishing articles and organizing the interview with Carlson.
