33-Year-Old Blogger Killed in Davtashen

On October 25, 33-year-old Shmavon Atoyan, known as a blogger, was killed in Davtashen. This information is reported by the "Ishkhanutyun" news outlet.

Gunfire was reported in Davtashen, Yerevan, at around 00:35. The law enforcement authorities received information that shots had been fired at 11 Arajin Street in the 3rd district of Davtashen, and there was an injured citizen.

Before the police arrived at the scene, the hospital reported that a person had been transported to the Armenia Medical Center with a diagnosis of a "gunshot wound to the abdomen and cardiac arrest." The injured individual died around 02:50 without regaining consciousness.

Authorities have confirmed that the deceased is Shmavon Atoyan, a resident of Yerevan. He was known as a pro-government blogger and was a member of the Civil Contract party's Davtashen territorial structure.

All circumstances of the incident are under investigation.
