Strong Earthquake in Turkey

An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.9 struck the Sındırgı district of Balıkesir, Turkey, on November 3.

According to the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority of Turkey (AFAD), the epicenter of the tremor was located in the Sındırgı region of Balıkesir. The earthquake was felt not only by the local population but also by residents of Istanbul and several surrounding cities.

Preliminary reports indicate that there are no casualties or damage reported at this time.
