Israel's Chief Military Advocate Disappears After Resignation Letter

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have confirmed that their resigned Chief Military Advocate, Major General Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi, has gone missing, according to The Times of Israel. The Jerusalem Post reports that police have initiated a search following a notification from his family about his disappearance. They have been unable to contact him since the morning. Tomer-Yerushalmi's vehicle was found on a northern Tel Aviv beach, with a letter discovered nearby.
Two days ago, Tomer-Yerushalmi submitted his resignation, a decision made by IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir.
