New Entry and Exit Stamp Without Mount Ararat in Armenian Passports Starting Today

Starting today, a new entry and exit stamp is being issued in Armenian passports. Social media users have shared images showing that the depiction of Mount Ararat has been removed from the entry/exit stamps of Armenia.

It should be noted that the decision was made on September 11. According to the new regulation, the date stamp will include the words "ՀԱՅԱՍՏԱՆ" and "ARMENIA" in Armenian and English, the name of the border crossing point, the date of crossing the state border, as well as a control number, entry or exit mark, and the stamp number. Additionally, symbols for air, railway, or automotive crossing points will be depicted accordingly.
