The Manager of HETC is Temporary; Investigations are Ongoing - Khudatyans
The manager of HETC has not changed; he is a temporary manager. This was stated by the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, David Khudatyan, during a conversation with reporters in Parliament.
According to him, a number of issues have been recorded in the publications of the temporary manager; however, due to the need for legal evaluation of these issues, he refrains from comments.
"The assumptions that existed regarding the ineffective management of critical infrastructure for the state are currently being investigated. There are preliminary results," noted the minister, adding that the temporary manager has contacted the relevant authorities.
In response to reporters' clarifying questions about whether the nationalization of HETC remains on the agenda and whether the ongoing changes are sufficient, Khudatyan answered that the changes are not sufficient, but he will only be able to comment on that topic after the completion of the investigations.
"I will answer that question after conducting a comprehensive study," said the minister, indicating that the main addressee of the issue is the Public Services Regulatory Commission.
He also addressed observations regarding "Veolia Water," clarifying that the company is conducting fiduciary management of state infrastructure, not owning them.
