The Fatherland is One, the Nation is One: We Must Say No to Attempts of Division – Aram I

Aram I, the Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia, has issued a statement warning about the dangers of division within the Armenian people and communities. According to him, there have been recent attempts to split the Fatherland, the nation, the church, organizations, and the cooperation between the Diaspora and Armenia. The statement is titled “Caution, Armenian People.”

“Let us remain vigilant and aware. Let us cling to our values, our sanctities, our traditions, and our roots by rejecting value systems that contradict our national and spiritual essence,” emphasized Aram I.

The Catholicos highlighted that the Armenian nation, the Fatherland, and the church are one, and any attempt to divide them must receive a unified “No.” He underlined that this is the message from history, heroes, and saints to the Armenian people, today and always.
