Territorial Issues in Ukraine Conflict Resolution Discussed in Various Formats: Lavrov

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov announced that the territorial issues in the context of the resolution of the Ukrainian conflict are being discussed in various formats, and that the President of Russia has also addressed this matter with other leaders.

In response to a question regarding whether Russia's conditions for negotiations related to Ukraine include flexibility, particularly concerning the territorial issues of the Donbas regions still controlled by the Ukrainian armed forces, as well as Kherson and Zaporizhzhia, he stated, “All these matters are discussed in various formats. President Vladimir Putin has periodically addressed this issue, responding to journalists' questions, as well as during meetings with U.S. President Donald Trump, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, and all those interested in better understanding Russia's position. They always have the opportunity to come and discuss their interests,” he said.
