Fire at Food Point on Khanjyan Street

On October 26, at 11:30 AM, the National Crisis Management Center received a report of a fire that broke out at a food point located on Khanjyan Street in Yerevan.

Four fire and rescue teams from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' Emergency Rescue Department in Yerevan were dispatched to the scene under a complexity level of '1 BIS'. There are currently no reports of injuries.

According to eyewitnesses, the fire may have started in the kitchen, presumably due to a malfunction in the fryer, although this theory has not been officially confirmed. Firefighters are continuing their work on site as the causes and scale of the incident are being investigated.
