Court Accepts Edmon Marukyan's Application
The Administrative Court has accepted the application submitted by Edmon Marukyan, which contests the decision of the Government of Armenia to remove the image of Mount Ararat from the stamps at border crossing points.

The Administrative Court has accepted the application filed by Edmon Marukyan, demanding the invalidation of point 4 of part 1 of the Government's decision No. 1299-N dated September 11, 2025. The contested decision foresees the removal of the image of Mount Ararat from the stamp used for crossing the state border starting from November 1, 2025.
At the same time, the Administrative Court rejected Edmon Marukyan's request to suspend the effect of the contested act. Consequently, decision No. 1299-N will come into force on November 1, 2025. Edmon Marukyan plans to appeal the Court's interim decision regarding the non-suspension of the contested act.
The Court's decision was made by a panel comprising presiding judge Ani Chilingaryan, judges Rouzanna Azroyan, Armen Nersisyan, Arthur Tsaturyan, and Agasi Darbinyan.
