Armenian Citizen Arrested in Case of Russian Director's Murder
The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has announced the initiation of a criminal case regarding the severe bodily injury that led to the death of a man in eastern Moscow. Media sources report that the victim is Sergey Politikin, a director and cameraman.
According to investigators, the incident occurred on the evening of October 18 near a house on Stalevarov Street. The cause was a 'domestic dispute'. The suspected murderer is a foreign national born in 1992. He allegedly stabbed the man and fled the scene. The victim was stabbed in the chest and died in the hospital.
A case has been opened under the fourth part of Article 111 of the Russian Criminal Code. According to TASS, referring to law enforcement agencies, the deceased is 56-year-old director and cameraman Sergey Politikin. The Baza Telegram channel reports that the director reprimanded an unknown individual who was behaving strangely, after which the latter 'attacked him with a knife.' Similar accounts have also been reported by REN TV and the Mash Telegram channel.
The suspect in the murder is a 33-year-old citizen of Armenia.
