Aliyev Announces Opening of the 'Zangezur Corridor'

The opening of the 'Zangezur Corridor' could take place by the end of 2028. This was announced by the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.

"In addition to the fact that we are currently planning and implementing everything, the 'Zangezur Corridor' project constitutes a tremendous potential. All the road and railway works within Azerbaijani territory will be completed by the middle of next year. We hope that in other countries, everything will be implemented at the same pace, and in that case, the opening of the Zangezur Corridor may occur by the end of 2028," said Aliyev.
