Zelensky Calls Putin a Terrorist, Open to Meeting in Budapest

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is open to meeting with Vladimir Putin in Budapest. In an interview with NBC News, Zelensky referred to Putin as a terrorist but confirmed his willingness to engage in talks with him.

“If we really want to achieve a just and lasting peace, we need both sides of this tragedy. How can there be any agreement without us? We genuinely want to achieve a fair and lasting peace,” Zelensky said.

It is noteworthy that just days ago, during a meeting between Trump and Zelensky, the U.S. President announced that Russia and the U.S. would hold a high-level meeting next week, followed by a Trump-Putin meeting in Budapest where the Russia-Ukraine war will be discussed.
