Trump Labels Colombian President as 'Drug Trafficker'

Colombian President Gustavo Petro has been labeled as an illegal drug trafficker, encouraging mass production of narcotics in large and small enterprises throughout Colombia. This was stated by U.S. President Donald Trump on the Truth Social platform.

"To this day, it is Colombia's largest business, and Petro does nothing to stop it, despite large payments and subsidies from the U.S., which are nothing more than the long-term looting of America. Effective immediately, those payments, or any other form of payment or subsidy, will no longer be paid to Colombia. The aim of this drug production is the massive sale of products in the United States, leading to death, devastation, and chaos. Petro, a low-rated and very unpopular leader who is openly against America, better shut down those death fields immediately, or the United States will do it for him, and it will not be pleasant for him," Trump wrote.

Earlier, the Colombian president had accused the U.S. of invading his country's territory. The U.S. announced it had struck a submarine transporting drugs in the Caribbean, resulting in the death of two individuals. Two others were sent back to their home countries, Colombia and Ecuador, where they are expected to face justice, according to Washington's statement.
