RPL President Comments on Conflict Between Spertsyan and Ndong
The President of the Russian Premier League, Alexander Alaev, has commented on the resolution of the conflict between FC Krasnodar midfielder Eduard Spertsyan and Akhmat defender Usman Ndong. Earlier, the Disciplinary Control Committee of the Russian Football Union had halted its investigation into the matter, imposing a fine of 150,000 rubles on the veteran of the "bulls." This was reported by ArmSport.am.
Regarding the incident involving Eduard Spertsyan and Usman Ndong, we were able to make the right decision. We organized a video conference with the clubs, gathered the players, and they talked, reconciled, and symbolically shook hands remotely, and they will certainly do this again during their next meeting. This was the most correct decision in this situation. It is always important to listen and be heard by one another,” he stated.
Recall that during the 85th minute of the confrontation between RPL teams in the 11th round, Ndong was sent off the pitch for hitting Spertsyan with his shoulder. After the match, the defender claimed that Spertsyan had insulted him on a racial basis. In turn, the Krasnodar player emphasized that he did not use such expressions towards his opponent and mentioned that Ndong had insulted his mother.
