They Are Confident the Campaign Against the Church Is Doomed to Fail: Garnik Danielyan

Member of the 'Armenia' faction, Garnik Danielyan, along with his colleague Asprom Krpelyan, visited Bishops Bagrat and Mikael today in the NSS isolation facility. Danielyan stated, 'I would like to remind that until now, visits with Bishop Bagrat were closed, and we only had the opportunity to visit Bishop Mikael. The spirit, will, and determination of our spiritual fathers were, as always, present. The bishops, being proficient in several languages, dedicate most of their day to reading and praying.'

'Despite the ongoing anti-church actions and policies by the authorities, they are confident that the campaign against the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church is doomed to failure. The shady actions of the authorities underscore the real intention behind fabricating cases against the clergy. The church is targeted as a national stronghold, with the aim of seizing the See. By especially detaining influential clergy, the ruling group is trying to more easily achieve this nefarious goal. We are convinced of one thing: our people's unwavering faith and love for the national church will not allow this to happen.'
