The US May Transfer Older Versions of Tomahawk Missiles to Ukraine: Axios

The United States may transfer older versions of Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine, Axios reports, citing experts. "American and Ukrainian military experts believe that the US is likely to provide Ukraine with older models of Tomahawk missiles that can target Russian air defense systems," the Axios portal states.

The report notes that even if US President Donald Trump approves the transfer of the missiles, it remains unclear how many the US will be able to allocate from its own reserves. "There are also very few land-based Typhon launch systems that Ukraine needs to launch Tomahawk missiles," the portal concludes.
