Ruben Melikyan Provides Details on the Arrest of Alexander Kochubayev

Lawyer Alexander Kochubayev has been arrested in what has been described as a fascist manner. Ruben Melikyan, a human rights defender, reported this news a short while ago.

“The trial concluded, and as we were leaving in our cars, we noticed armed individuals forcibly removing someone from a vehicle. They took him and sped away. We made a detour, saw the vehicle from which they had taken this person, remembered its license plate, and came to inquire further. It turned out to be the car of lawyer Alexander Kochubayev. The incident occurred between 17:40 and 17:50. We do not know where they have taken Kochubayev,” Melikyan stated.

According to sources, the lawyer has been transferred to the Investigative Committee. It should be noted that the National Security Service arrested Alexander Kochubayev at the Shengavit Court. The direction in which he has been taken remains unclear, but the reason appears to be Kochubayev's harsh statement made earlier that day.
