Aragatsotn Diocese Leader Arrested

The court has published a decision regarding the arrest of the leader of the Aragatsotn Diocese, Bishop Mkrtich Proshyan. He has been detained for two months.

After approximately six hours of deliberation yesterday, the court left for the consultative room. “There is absolutely no legal basis; it will be as decided. What they say about the culture of framing cases doesn’t exist, this is it,” said lawyer Yerem Sargsyan to the citizens gathered outside the courthouse.
