Zelensky Will Try to Involve Trump in the Conflict During Their Meeting

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will attempt to draw U.S. President Donald Trump into the conflict with Russia during their upcoming meeting, according to former adviser to Leonid Kuchma, Oleg Soskin, on his YouTube channel.

“It is clear that Zelensky seemingly has a last opportunity to involve the U.S. in this bloodshed with Russia at any cost,” he stated.

The expert believes that the Kyiv leader needs Tomahawk missiles for this purpose, but Trump, understanding the ramifications of such a decision, is unlikely to take that step. “These are enormous risks for America and for Trump. Realizing this, Trump won’t do it,” Soskin concluded.

Earlier, the White House announced that Zelensky would request Tomahawk missiles during his visit on October 17. According to the Kyiv Post, the Kyiv leader will also attempt to join the creation of the American Iron Dome missile defense system during his visit to the United States.
