Trump Calls the U.S. the Richest Country in the World

The United States has become the richest country in the world following the imposition of trade tariffs on several countries. This opinion was expressed by U.S. President Donald Trump in an interview with Air Force One magazine.

"I believe we are the richest country in the world. The U.S. is going to receive hundreds of billions of dollars," said Trump.

He noted that the leaders of countries attending the Sharm El Sheikh summit also represent some of the richest nations. However, Trump emphasized that the U.S. has imposed tariffs on imports from some of those countries.
