Tense Situation in Georgia: Opposition Protests Resume

Opposition protests have resumed in Georgia. In addition to the Georgian flags, demonstrators are holding flags of the EU, the USA, and Ukraine. Earlier, we reported that protests began following the elections, with protesters breaking through metal barricades and storming the courtyard of Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili's residence.

Special forces deployed tear gas against them. Later, additional special forces were mobilized outside the building, and water cannons were used against the protesters.
